GRADE 1 BLUE

Grade 1 Blue have been learning about how to write an explanation in English.  Students listened to the Life Cycle of a Frog and a Butterfly and wrote an explanation to explain the process.

HOODIES FOR HAMISH

The Kingston Campus will be a holding a fundraiser on Friday 18th September. 

Hamish Cullen is a Grade 1 student who has recently had a relapse of a brain tumour that he was diagnosed with in July 2019.  He has had another major surgery and is currently undergoing chemotherapy at the Royal Hobart Hospital.  As a College community, we would like to support the Cullen family with their ongoing battle with Hamish's disease and raise some money to support Hamish and his family.

Students are invited to wear their favourite hooded jumper with their sports uniform in exchange for a gold coin donation.

KINDER WHITE

Students in Kindergarten recently wrote letters to a family member as part of their unit on Community.  The students walked to the Blackmans Bay Post office to post their letters.  It was a lovely day for a walk with many members of the community commenting on how respectful and how wonderful the students' manners were as they walked around the shopping centre.
