The Push-Up Challenge 2021

Join us as we push for better mental health

Get fit, have fun and learn about mental health by taking part in The Push-Up Challenge 2021.

This June, join your House Team and challenge yourself to complete 3,318 push-ups over 25 days to acknowledge the number of lives lost to suicide in 2019.

Sounds like too many push-ups? Each member of your team can aim for 25%, 50%,75% or 100% of the push-up target.

Push-ups can be done just about anywhere and you can spread your push-ups out over the day. Exercise alternatives such as sit-ups, squats or tailored exercises are also very welcome. Through the event app (which will be released soon) you can bank your push-ups and see how your teammates are going.

The daily push-up target changes each day to reflect a vital mental health statistic, so along the way you’ll learn about mental health.

Our College Community is proudly supporting Headspace, Lifeline and Speak Up Stay Chatty with this event. We will be organising a number of activities and events throughout June to further support the wonderful initiative.

Individual fundraising is an optional part of the event but a great opportunity to support mental health in Australia.

Join us as we push for better mental health.

To get involved:

  1. Go to our Community page (below)
  2. Join your House Team within our Community (you will also need to register)
  3. Spread the word and get others involved
  4. Start prepping yourself
  5. 1st to 25th June: Get pushin’

Sports Uniform

With the cold weather here, we encourage students who are representing the College in sports teams to ensure they bring along warm College sports clothing including track pants, polo tops, jumpers and jackets to wear over their shorts and singlets whilst they are waiting to compete.
