Project 23 Update
Over the past few months, an enormous amount of work has been going on behind the scenes progressing our preparation for Grade 11 at St Aloysius Catholic College in 2023. As part of this, we are committing to regular updates on Facebook to communicate to families about our progress and some of the milestones we have reached.
At present we are working with the Office of Tasmanian Assessment, Standards and Certification (TASC) and the Tasmanian Schools Registration Board in meeting registration standards for Grades 11 and 12. We continue to work with Catholic Education Tasmania (CET) and the P23 Project Team in building high-level outcomes and consistencies in the delivery of policies, procedures and teaching quality. The St Aloysius Senior Subject Selection Handbook 2022 will be released to students at the end of Term 2 identifying clear pathways through subject choice in senior secondary. We continue to engage in Timetabling Design Meetings with CET Facilities as we await final budget approval from the Catholic Education Commission Tasmania (CECT) in late June.
Catholic Education Transportation Survey
We want to know how to improve student transport.
Please take five minutes to let us know what you think about how students get to and from school.
The review will also be looking at the attitudes families and students have towards bus transportation and the reasons why they may or may not use bus transportation.
The survey closes Friday, 2 July 2021.
