On Tuesday, 7th September the Southern SATIS Athletics Carnival was held at the Queens Domain. The team were eager and prepared with four previous training sessions held the weeks prior to sharpen their skills and refine techniques. On the day each student represented the College positively and demonstrated fantastic athleticism in track and field events.

 

On Saturday, 10th September the State SATIS Athletics Carnival was held at the Queens Domain. The students in this team displayed tremendous dedication to the College through attending the Carnival on a weekend through the windy and rainy conditions. Although the team was much smaller, their efforts were substantial and many athletes displayed impressive results on the day.

Congratulations to the SATIS Athletics team, and a big thank you to the Health and Physical Education team for assisting with the training sessions and carnivals.

 

On Thursday, 23rd September selected Year 9/10 students represented the College at the High School Netball Championships. The day was organised by Netball Tasmania and included 12 different teams from the Southern region playing in a round robin carnival. The Year 9/10 St Aloysius team displayed exceptional netball talent with all members of the team showcasing strong skills. The girls made it through to the final round, with a challenging game against Dominic. Although the team was unable to advance to the State final, they represented the College with pride and enjoyed working together as a team. Fantastic effort from all.
