All students are to be congratulated and should be proud of the way they participated in the event. An extended congratulations goes to our four students who placed in the top ten, gaining selection to represent Tasmania in Adelaide later this year, what an outstanding achievement!

Head of House completes Ironman
A huge congratulations to HPE teacher and Head of Charity House, Peter Kay, who competed in the Asia-Pacific Ironman Championships in Cairns on 12th June. He completed the 3.8km swim, 180km bike ride and 42.2km run in just under 11 hours. His dedication and commitment in this event is an inspiration to all of us, well done Peter!
Community Sporting Links
During this term in HPE, our Year 3-6 students have enjoyed participating in a range of sessions, at a variety of community sporting centres, with the aim to foster future links. In particular they have visited the Kingborough Gymnastics Centre, the High Performance Cricket Centre and Swisherrs Basketball. The Year 5 and 6 students have also had visits from members of the Chargers Basketball Team.
All of these community sporting groups have school holiday programs on offer if students would like to further extend their participation.
